Author: Steve Almasy
Topic: Sport/ Olympics Summary: In this article it talks about Robert Beck who is a photographer for the olympic games 2010 Vancouver. Beck is saying that he has the best seat to see the games. Beck knows precisely where he needs to be to get the perfect picture when the overwhelming gold medal favorite Shaun White performs. For the next 9 hours Beck won't leave his spot hes not allowed to come back down until the competition is over so he has a bag full of equipment and provisions. He carries three camera bodies, four lenses, several radios to remotely trigger cameras and a bunch of Cliff bars.Beck is on top of the mountain taking the best pictures possible for the TV watchers.Robert who has more than 50 Sports Illustrated covers is frustrated even before he climbs the hill
Opinion:
i think he is very lucky because alot of people will want to be in that spot getting the best looks at there contries athletes. The good thing for us the TV watchers is that he is the one that takes all the close pictures so you can see the athletes like if you were in Vancouver ,Canada. The bad part for him is that he has to stay up there for a long period of time and sometimes is very cold and you have to eat.
Summary:Toyota Motor is struggling to hold onto its customers through its crisis. But the ones it might have the most trouble keeping are the rental car companies. For the most part people are accepting of the repairs and don't have problems. But they have had customers who don't want Toyota. They find them another model. Kelley Blue Book, which publishes used car values, lowered the estimated value of all recalled models about 4% since the crisis began. This is affecting some customers that say no more Toyota, but the dealers are making a good job on keeping them with Toyota. The cars that had the problems were the corrola and the camry wich are the the 2nd and 3rd most rented cars in the United States.
Opinion: I think this is reallt affecting Toyota but is not a big deal Toyota is a big brand and can get there selfs up quick. This happened to Ford too and they helped the customers and did a great job so the customers dint refuse to buy Ford. The type of cars that have those problems are the best rented so it also is one of the most sold so i think this will not make a big problem.
